Pricing and payment
How much does a fax cost?
$2.99 per delivered fax, up to 25 pages, to any US number. No subscription and no per-page fees.
When am I charged?
Your card is held when you send and charged only after delivery is confirmed. If the fax fails, you are never charged.
Do I need an account?
No. Enter a fax number, pay $2.99, and your receipt arrives by email. Accounts are optional.
Sending a fax
How do I send a fax without a machine?
Photograph your pages with your phone or upload a PDF, enter the fax number, and pay $2.99. ProntoFax sends it for you.
What is Snap & Fax?
Snap & Fax uses your phone camera. It straightens, sharpens, and converts each photo into a clean, fax-ready page in black and white.
How many pages can I send?
Up to 25 pages per fax. There's no auto-splitting. To send more, send the extra pages as a second fax.
Can I send to any fax number?
You can send to US fax numbers. We check the line before you pay so you know it can receive.
Delivery and proof
How do I know it was delivered?
You can watch it send live, and ProntoFax emails a receipt with the delivery time once the receiving machine confirms it.
What if the fax fails?
You pay nothing. The hold on your card is released and you can try again.
Privacy and language
How long do you keep my document?
Documents are deleted after 30 days. The delivery record is kept as proof of transmission.
